Marketing to Millennials
Not all millennials are created equal. While the millennial generation and college student audience aren’t mutually exclusive, 25% of college students are 30 or older, and there is a great deal of overlap between the two audiences. Millennials are on their way to becoming the most educated generation of Americans in history. According to a 2010 Pew Research Center survey, 40% of college-age millennials are currently in school, and 30% of those who aren’t currently enrolled intend to complete their degrees. 90% of today’s high school students plan to pursue higher education after graduation.
